n' Rock Candy by Judy Mays
Gasping, she jumped back away from him – right back into the rose bush. It
slapped her ass.
“Damn it!” She leaped forward into his arms and grabbed his
shoulders. Hooking her ankles together behind his back, she wrapped her legs
around his waist.
As the force of her leap caused him to step back, Brad wrapped one
arm around her slender waist and the other at the top of her thighs, just below
her ass. This was by far the craziest woman he’d ever met. Still, she felt
pretty good wrapped around him like this, her crotch pressed tightly against his
abdomen. Maybe, if she shifted, she’d slide a little lower.
He spread his fingers over the side of her rib cage. “If you wrap
your legs around every man you meet, there must be a lot of happy men in the
“Put me down!”
Leaning his head back, he cocked an eyebrow and smiled at her.
“You’re the one who jumped on me.”
Her face was full of consternation. “That’s because I backed into a
rosebush, you idiot!”
Brad slid the arm up against her ass. Something pricked his wrist.
“Ouch!” She squashed her breasts against his chest and wrapped her
arms around his neck.
Damn but she felt good. Too bad he was wearing a shirt. The
thought of her hard nipples rubbing against his bare chest sent a shiver dancing
down his spine.
Unhooking her ankles, she tried to lower her legs. However, Brad
kept his left arm locked against her right thigh and under her buttocks so she
was only able to lower one leg. He didn’t want to let her go just yet. It had
been too long since he’d had his arms wrapped around a squirming woman.
He chuckled. “You have a thorn in your butt.”
“I know that,” she hissed in his ear. “Put me down so I can get it
“I wouldn’t be much of a public servant if I didn’t help you.”
Sliding his hand over her behind, he cupped and squeezed her ass cheek.
“Get your hands off my ass, or I swear I’ll go Mike Tyson on you and
bite your ear off.” Her warm breath slid past his ear and swirled around the
back of his neck.
Warmth pooled deep in his stomach.
Brad’s imagination began to run wild. If she’d bite his ear, what
else would she bite? His canine teeth began to ache even more, and he had to
concentrate to keep them from growing.
Then, without any warning, his cock twitched.
She wiggled against him. More warm breath meandered over his ear
His cock stirred again.
Breathless, he waited – waited for the familiar rush of blood and
tightening of his balls.
It didn’t come.
Still, joy flooded his body. His cock had moved. This woman in his
arms, Amber’s friend, had made his cock move. It wasn’t dead.
He squeezed her ass once more.
She dug her nails into the back of his shoulders. “Quit feeling me
up and put me down, or I’ll sue you for harassment.”
“You’re the one harassing me.” He slid his fingers to the thorn and
She growled in his ear.
“It’s in deeper than I thought. Hold on,” he murmured. One quick
yank had it out. Immediately, he rubbed his thumb against the spot.
“Put – me – down, or I swear I will bite you.” She unlocked
her legs from around his waist.
“You’ve threatened an officer of the law – twice,” Brad answered with a
chuckle. “That’s a felony.”
Bracing her hands on his shoulders, she arched her back against his
arm and stared at him. That pressed her crotch even more firmly against him. “I
what? Are you nuts?”
Grinning into her angry face, Brad finally loosened his hold and let
her slide to the ground. If she’d been pissed before, she was spitting mad now.
But that didn’t matter. Nor did it matter that his cock was hanging limp against
his leg. He’d felt it move, and this woman had caused it. He and she were
going to become much, much better acquainted.
He stepped back, propped his hands on his hips, and said, “What’s
your name again?”

Fallen Angel Reviews
Oh boy! I waited for a
sequel and this is it, Judy Mays outdid herself in this book. What I mean is
that you not only meet Rusty Nipple again, but his cousin Brad is one piece of
man you will come to love. From the start, I felt for this guy; with one gunshot
his whole life changes. Though it was a good reason to keep him alive, he
doesn’t get accustomed to vampire life and Judy Mays did a great job in showing
what he missed most about being a mortal. Mandi is a friend who will do anything
to make sure her best friend is doing the right thing. These two characters are
so great towards one another, it’s hard to see why they don’t just get it on in
the beginning. The scene leading up to it, well, only Judy Mays knows how to
make it hot. Rednecks 'n’ Rock Candy not only was a great read but a marvelous
sequel to Rednecks ‘n’ Roses. Great job!
What happens when a gourmet
chef meets a small town sheriff, who just happens to be a newly made vampire? A
lot of biting and hot times in the kitchen, not to mention a lot of hot sex that
would make many a woman green with envy! Drug dealers and angry bulls only add
more fuel to the fire. Will Brad and Mandi be able to deal with all of the
issues in an effective manner?
Ms. Mays has a way with wit
and humor that never fails to make me laugh out loud. Her vampires are hotter
than the LaBrea tar pits, and utterly fascinating. The storyline is fresh, fun,
and yet heart wrenching in some areas. If you love to read about vampires and
romance, then snatch up this wonderful book as soon as humanly possible.

About New Books
Judy Mays has crafted a
delightful, humorous and emotional romantic vampiric tale about two people whose
lives have changed dramatically and end up seeking a new life with each other. I
found Mandi to be a sassy city gal who tries to deny her attraction to Brad’s
charming hillbilly ways. Brad is the stereotypical small town sheriff who will
go out of his way to set things right. These two characters are as opposite as
any characters can get which makes the opposites attract theory work really well
with them. I enjoyed their verbal banter and the baiting that goes on between
them which had me laughing at times. Mandi’s bluntness to ward off Brad just
makes Brad gravitate more towards her which made me like him even more. The
intimacy that surrounds Mandi and Brad is quite sensual and a favorite toy and a
romantic ambiance with some candles should be within reach. I quite enjoyed the
way Ms. Mays let the readers experience Brad’s new found abilities of his
lifestyle and the suspenseful storyline. I was easily drawn to Mandi and Brad’s
relationship and the excitement of unraveling the mysteriousness of the plot.
The secondary characters, good or bad, definitely stirred up Mandi and Brad’s
lives, keeping this reader glued to this story. I quite enjoyed the presence of
Amber and Rusty, the heroine and hero from the Rednecks ‘n’ Roses in the Nibbles
‘n’ Bits anthology, which added to the excitement and emotional aspect of this
story. I hope to read future stories of what Juniata County and its charming
residents have to offer. Thanks Ms. Mays!

This book was hysterically
funny! I found myself laughing throughout-except when I was gasping with
pleasure at Mandi and Brad's sexual encounters. The sex wasn't as graphic as
some that I have read, but it was extremely erotic and HOT! Brad had been shot
in a drug bust, and in order to save his life, his cousin Rusty (Amber's fiancé)
turned him into a vampire... Brad has become very depressed about his life (it's
HARD to be a sheriff when you have to avoid the sun and have to give up coaching
Little League.) until he meets Mandi. While Mandi is laughing over the silly
names and trying to adjust to this small town, she is also falling-HARD-for
Brad. Ms. Mays has a wonderful sense of the absurd and even though Brad and
Mandi have to deal with drug dealers and a crazy farmer and his bull, she lets
us in on the joke. I have never read a book by Ms. Mays before and I LOVED this
